Konica Minolta USA launch v5 of Dispatcher Phoenix

Konica Minolta USA have announecd a major upgrade of its automated document workflow solution, Dispatcher Phoenix, which includes some novel features. 

Dispatcher Phoenix is a capture/process/route document management app which supports features such as document redaction and content-based indexing.

Version 5.0 includes changes to the licensing model to allow multiple workflows to run on a single MFP (much like their competitors do) - but has the interesting addition of print release management, Release2Me.  This function is usually seen in print accounting apps.  Further integration of print management requirements into the document workflow is visible with the means to identify and standardize print output, e.g. number of copies.  This is a common feature in document factory apps, but not addressed by the document capture competitors of Dispatcher Phoenix.

Other additions in 5.0 are an enhanced (Nuance) OCR, more connectors, and a scripting option for automating indexing processes.
