Ricoh updates its range of software solutions for production print management

09 November 2015

Ricoh recently announced the launch of a portfolio of software solutions to improve the productivity of production print operations. The TotalFlow portfolio includes TotalFlow Prep 4.0, TotalFlow Print Manager 4.0, TotalFlow Production Manager and TotalFlow Path 4.0. This range is available from November 2015 in the EMEA zone.  "These software solutions will help operations work better, faster and smarter" said Graham Moore, Director of Business Development, Ricoh Europe.

Designed more for small and medium-size print service providers, TotaFlow Prep 4.0 is intended to be an intuitive tool for imposition, composition, document editing and creating worksheets. It can operate independently or be fully integrated with other production solutions such as Print Manager and Production Manager.
The print management software solution TotalFlow Print Manager 4.0 and print production workflow solution TotalFlow Manager 4.0 allow centralized management of digital printing operations. They can also automatically schedule print production depending on the printer capabilities, media type and workload.   TotalFlow Production Manager 4.0 can transform PostScript or PCL flows into PDF.
The TotalFlow Path 4.0 platform can pool several printers.  It intelligently connects solutions and commercial applications, enabling them to communicate during the production process. TotalFlow Path reduces errors and speeds turnaround time by reducing manual intervention.

According to Graham Moore, print profitability depends on the rapid execution of printing operations without interruptions.  This technology automatically manages, continuously and effectively daily problems and keep the need for human intervention to a minimum.
