Ricoh launches 9 new color A3 models

21 June 2016

Ricoh is rolling out its new line of multi-function A3 color printers. From 30 ppm to 60 ppm, nine models make up this series. The MP C3004SP, C3004ASP, C3504SP, C3504ASP, C4504SP and C4504ASP are already present on your DMO printer-benchmark portal.

For Ricoh, this range combines simplicity and intuitiveness - and makes the most of some new technologies. The series' features include a new smart control panel, based on the Android operating system.  It is large - 10 inches - and tablet-style "touch and swipe" -  purportedly powerful and easy to use.  It is customizable: both format and content can be adapted to individual user preferences.  The control panel can also be updated by installing new applications from the Ricoh website, allowing full customization and expanding the functions of the MFP. In addition, the control panel can even be customized to match the look of a company or brand. Finally, a full web browser is also integrated.

Ricoh is also emphasizing the connectivity and mobile features of the new ranges to demonstrate their contribution to improved business workflows.  These MFPs can be used from smartphones and tablets using Bluetooth or NFC, using email or by accessing local folders. "Thanks to their intelligent connectivity, their customizable user interface and ability to integrate directly into a company's workflow, these intelligent multifunctions bring together several innovative Ricoh WorkStyle technologies" says Eric Gryson, CEO Ricoh Belgium / Luxembourg.

Finally, this new range also provides a human detection sensor (which allows the MFP to get going as soon as someone approaches), stapling without staples and banner printing.

The MP C5504SP, C5504ASP C6004SP and will also soon be available on Your DMO.
