New apps for PrintAlerts

16 June 2016

Better control, better analysis and better management are the promises made for the new PrintAlerts print fleet management solution.

Cloud-based, it allows you to manage print fleets automatically and remotely but also to access critical information to reduce operating costs, optimize the use of internal resources and generate maximum benefit.

Among these innovations, the Real Coverage app which measures coverage and the volume of pages printed helps to determine if the owner is gaining maximum value.  Reports illustrate the contents of the cartridge before and after, and the amount of ink remaining. The application also indicates the number of pages that could have been printed with the toner which was in the machine before it was replaced.

The Settings app has also been developed to allow PrintAlerts to be more specific on cartridge consumption control when certain thresholds are reached.  This is intended to ensure a cartridge is only shipped when it is really necessary.

Other component applications have been added recently too.  Cartridge Performance shows the actual page yield relative to what the manufacturer promised.  Profitability reflects the profitability of a print fleet in terms of savings against budgeted cost.  Similarly, Volume Analysis determines whether a printing system is used effectively (or is over- or under-used).
