Samsung widens small-business range of multifunctions

Samsung has widened its range of office multifunctions with two new A3 machines aimed at SMEs, the color MultiXpress X3280NR and the monochrome K3300NR

"The MultiXpress X3280NR / K3300NR series is designed to provide our customers with top-quality printers which are compact and easy to use. The launch of this new series is fully consistent with our goal to provide SMEs with efficiencies and the best value through solutions that are both sustainable and safe but also economically beneficial because they deliver high performance" says David SW Song, senior vice president responsible printing solutions at Samsung Electronics.
 
They color multifunction runs at 28 ppm, the monochrome at 30; both scan at 45 ipm.  Print resolution can be up to 9600 x 600 ppi, delivered by the ReCP (Rendering engine for Clean Page), which aims to provide better character definition better rendering of graphics and photos, and much sharper edges.  This print engine is the fruit of Samsung's R&D, as is the new generation of fine-particle Samsung toner intended to deliver and vivid and brilliant colors.
 
As part of the range of Samsung MFPs, the MultiXpress X3280NR and K3300NR are compatible with mobile solutions like Google Cloud Print, AirPrint, the Mopria Print Service and Samsung Cloud Print and they support NFC. Security is covered with multiple authentication options to ensure the confidentiality of documents.
