PaperCut 17 will be out soon!

28 February 2017

Software updates come pretty frequently, but not with PaperCut's speed and the amount they manage to change!  Over the last months, numerous new versions have delivered a lot that's new.  following on from PaperCut 16, PaperCut 17 will be available early in March.

This new version has a new design with a reworked and more modern web interface. Mobile printing is now easier for Toshiba devices with simplified set up, and scanning is now fully compatible.
The PaperCut MF interface has also been enhanced for Xerox
Version 17 also has direct access for guests on Sharp and Kyocera printing systems.

PaperCut 17 comes with two major new features:

- New, more modern design
The design of both PaperCut NG and PaperCut MF has been thoroughly updated to provide a more intuitive and streamlined workflow.  Among these major changes are the main navigation menu's move leftwards, and the action menu is now easier to access in the upper right corner. The icing on the cake, faster page load times and the ability to bookmark the most used pages should save a few more minutes per day. In addition, the resolution is also sharper for large screen users.

- Simplified installation and integrated scanning for Toshiba MFPs
With PaperCut 17, installation on a multifunction device is even easier. With the latest generation of Toshiba MDS platforms (eBridge Open Platform 3.0+), the PaperCut MF application's embedded installation takes just a few clicks. This primarily eliminates the frustration of long and laborious installations, and also saves time and money.
