The Xerox VersaLink C7020, C7025
A3 color multifunction printers have been through all the DataMaster Lab
tests and evaluations. We are pleased to announce that they have obtained the very good rating of 4.5/5 stars.
of these machines is what our test engineers have highlighted, above all the scan interface - which is very similar to that of the Altalink color series we tested in July. This is definitely the most intuitive scan interface on the MFP market at the moment. The print driver and the machine webpages are also really easy to use. More information on all of this is available to subscribers on DataMaster Online
The Versalinks are more productive
than their predecessors, the WorkCentre 7200 series. The most important improvement is in double-sided printing. VersaLinks can actually print faster in duplex mode, up to 7% faster - onto A4/Letter. This is a record for Xerox, and currently the best in their segments.
So, no longer any need not to economise on paper!
The duplex speed is rarely published by manufacturers. Xerox did not publish these machines' duplex speeds. They should.
The range does not lose speed in automatic color mode either. In workgroup mode (printing 15 jobs at once) they proved capable of ripping and printing at the same time (with a reall small pause in between each job).
Great machines, but with a few features missing, as one might expect of an entry level machine - hence only 4.5 out of 5 stars.

DataMaster's analyses and assessments are completely independent. Five-star certificates are extremely rare. To attain five stars, not only must the equipment under test demonstrate an excellent performance in most categories, but must have no major weakness in any of the evaluation criteria.
Machines' evaluation certificates and the corresponding rosette badges (as well as those for other machines in the range with the same print engine, plus any rebadged machines sold by other brands) can all be downloaded for FREE.
Their radar charts, and the detailed results of the productivity tests are available on our benchmarking platform DMO which is available to you by subscription.
