Ricoh launch a new Production series, the Pro C5200s

13 January 2017

Ricoh has just announced the release of a new series of color production printers, the Pro C5200s series.  This is made up of the Ricoh Pro C5200s and the Pro C5210s.  They will replace the Pro C5100s and Pro C5110s, released in 2013.

Designed by Ricoh to help reduce printing costs, the Ricoh Pro C5200s series is designed for internal print centers, corporate printing departments, and commercial printers.

More compact, the Pro C5200 series has been adapted for a variety of environments, but run at the same speeds as the machines they replace.  The Ricoh Pro C5210s has a print speed of 80 ppm onto A4/letter (color and monochrome) and 42 ppm onto A3/ledger.  The Ricoh Pro C5200s has a speed of 65 ppm onto A4 and 34 ppm onto A3. These MFPs have a standard capacity of 3850 sheets and options to get to 8250 sheets.

There are lots of new features on these two machines.  Two new Fiery EFI controllers (E-24B and E-44B) should help with print quality and color fidelity.  Also the new finishing modules SR5070 and SR5080 offer stapling, folding, booklet creation or perforation.

Finally, the Ricoh Pro C5200s and C5210s are also equipped with the all-new intelligent control panel, the Ricoh Smart Operation Panel.
It is 10 inches in size and is available as an option, offering more applications for printing, scanning and e-mailing documents more easily and at lower cost.
