Seven new Kyocera MFPs on the market

14 November 2013

Kyocera Document Solutions revamped its core color A3 range in July, and are continuing to update their multifunction ranges with a further seven machines.  The TASKalfa 2551ci is a 25 ppm A3 color machine.  The TASKalfa 3010i (30 ppm) and TASKalfa 3510i (35 ppm) are A3 monochrome devices intended for monthly volumes of between 5000 and 7000 pages, and the TASKalfa 6501i and 8001i are high-end machines running at 65 and 80 ppm accompanying their color stablemates, the TASKalfa 6551ci and 7551ci (respectively 65 and 75 ppm).

Scanning to PDF text is among the new features these seven new machines are bringing to the Kyocera range.  This embedded function is an option on the 2551ci, 3010i and 3510i, and comes as standard on the 6501i, 8001i, 6551ci and 7551ci.  They all support Apple AirPrint to help printing from Apple iOS devices.  Kyocera are also highlighting that these new machines all have multi-touch touch screens, and better energy efficiency with TEC ratings down by between 30 and 50% across the new range.

The specifications and sales arguments for all these machines will be on Your DMO in the next few days!
