Konica Minolta USA launches the bizhub 554e   23 October 2013

Konica Minolta USA launched a new A3 monochrome multifunction on October 16 - the bizhub 554e.  This launch is a new stage in the bringing of the INFO-Palette design to the whole monochrome office range.  We can expect this to be rolled out to the slower-speed machines in due course.
The bizhub 554e has many of the features of the color products with equivalent speeds, with the single-pass scan giving 160 images per minute.  The finishing unit options are the same as for the C554e.
Finally, the machine has a Typical Electrical Consumption down 37% on the preceding generation of machine (bizhub 552).
This machine should be launched in Europe during November - and all the specs will be available to DMO subscribers very shortly!
