Konica Minolta launch new version of PageScope Mobile   29 March 2013

PageScope Mobile is a free app which lets smartphones and other mobile devices (iOS and Android) to connect to the Konica Minolta bizhub range acrioss wireless networks.

PageScope Mobile lets users print pdf and image files to the bizhub, and even MS Office files on the more recent of the brand's devices.  It also supports scanning to the mobile device concerned.  The PageScope Mobile app can then be used to send the scans on, either to the Cloud (Google Drive, DropBox or SharePoint) or to a shared (SMB) folder on the network.

This new version widens compatibility to include some production equipment (bizhub Pro C6000L and bizhub Pro 951).  Additional functions have also been added: printing options can be saved as favourites, and the app can see the print queue too.
As with the previous version, this new version of PageScope Mobile supports printing to Konica Minolta devices at which the user has already been identified.  This means the user's usage can be properly accounted using the device's print accounting features.  Secure printing is also supported on this new version of PageScope Mobile.
