Four new color A3 MFPs from Kyocera
18 July 2013
Kyocera have launched four new A3 color MFPs running from 30 to 55 pages per minute: the TASKalfa 3051ci, 3551ci, 4551ci and 5551ci. The last of these runs at 50 ppm in color.
Electrical consumption in stand-by mode has been substantially reduced, which means the typical electricity consumption (TEC) value is low.
These machines have an option to scan to searchable PDF. Many manufacturers of A3 MFPs now offer this feature, which goes some way towards integrating paper-bound information into company systems without needing a full document capture system.
The new touch screen supports the touch-and-slide feel popularized by smartphones and tablets. The machines have four USB ports, which allow for multiple external devices such as card readers, keyboards and USB storage keys to be connected.
The full technical specifications and sales and marketing information (pros and cons) for all these machines will be in Your DMO in the coming days!
