Xerox names its latest offspring the WorkCentre 3550

25 August 2010

The American brand launched a B&W A4 MFP at the end of July: the WC3550.  This multifunction equipment, aimed at SMEs or large company departments, outputs at 33ppm.  Based on the Samsung SCX-5635 engine, this machine has also been given some interesting special features like the USB port on the side as well as the ability to route incoming faxes to email addresses.
This compact MFP (up to 1,050 pages as standard) provides an automatic document feeder with a capacity of 60 pages with automatic double-sided printing, and it supports color scanning.
One small point all the same - whilst essentially easy to use, the user interface is not touch sensitive.
Technical specifications soon to be available on the main interface.
