Toshiba invents a machine which deletes ...
22 March 2012
Toshiba has just finished work on a remarkable new copier which can delete text on the page. It uses a special toner which becomes colorless when heated. This system allows paper to be reused up to five times, providing economic and ecological benefits.
The equipment can scan the printed paper first, wipe it and sort the re-usable sheets in a separate tray.
According to Toshiba, the equipment should be ready for the end of 2012. Pricing has not been fixed yet but it is intended to be low.
