Kyocera focuses on security with new TASKalfa series

05 February 2019

Kyocera is launching its new generation of TASKalfa machines: A3 MFPs adapted to the latest security requirements.

Crucial for companies, document security is at the center of innovations in the world of print and document management these days. Kyocera's new A3 multifunctional TASKalfa series comprises 7 devices (5 color, 2 monochrome) designed to meet customers new requirements, while complying with the regulatory requirements of confidentiality such as those enacted by the GDPR in Europe.

Data security is therefore at the heart of this renewed range that includes a Trusted Platform Module (TPM). With its encryption key system and secure boot management, the TPM provides protection against unsolicited installation of malware. Combined with Kyocera Net Manager, Kyocera's secure authentication solution, the system provides optimal protection for data and documents.

On the technology side, the new TASKalfa MFPs focused on availability and economy. A movement sensor brings them out of standby mode when they are approached. The fastest models offer 60ppm, and can scan - also when coupled with Kyocera Capture Manager - at no less than 220 ipm.

Finally, the new Kyocera machines can still be managed remotely by Kyocera Fleet Services, the manufacturer's remote maintenance service, which allows equipment to be always up-to-date by minimizing customer-side operations. "At KYOCERA, we know that security is a top priority for businesses. Combining this with improved user-friendliness and award-winning reliability, this innovative new TASKalfa range is ideal for customers who want to print high-quality documents," says Benjamin Claus, Product Marketing Manager at Kyocera Document Solutions France. The new machines are available right now.
