DataMaster gives 5 stars to the Printronix LP844C

We are delighted to award the full five stars to the Printronix LP844C!

It is the most compact A3 printer on the market, designed to fit where others cannot, even in dusty, damp and cold work environments. It produces extremely high-quality prints on an exceptionally wide range of media, up to 256 gsm / 68 lb bond from smaller than A7 (64 x 90 mm, 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch) up to 1320mm / 52 inches long.

It is this extraordinary versatility which has impressed us the most.

It enables waterproof signage and labelling, customized printing onto synthetic tags and wristbands, and even labels which conform to the requirements of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) shipping regulations. Other brands make printers that print shipping labels: this machine's labels can go on a ship, out on deck! And it is a Windows printer for "normal" print jobs, with good results in our "busy work environment" tests.

We have tested several print engines from the same manufacturer, and are happy to confirm that they are extremely robust.
