Konica Minolta USA announces availability of Copitrak for bizhub multifunctions

20 October 2014

Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, Inc. has announced that Nuance Copitrak CSS (Copitrak System Software) can be loaded onto Konica Minolta bizhub MFPs.

By means of the bizhub Extended Solution Technology (bEST) platform, Copitrak can be integrated to provide an interface to monitor and control all the features of the bizhub. As an alternative to installation on the MFP itself, an "Eclipse Copitrak Terminal" can be used instead.

The Copitrak Systems Software solution has several editions and options:

Copitrak Embedded (called Integrated Copitrak by the developer):
As its name suggests, this is loaded onto the MFP and user authentication is done using the touchscreen

Copitrak Eclipse
is a cost-recovery terminal with a color touchscreen interface and an authentication module, which can be either biometric or a cardreader.

Copitrak Desktop Print
(or Copitrak Print): is a module to monitor and control print quotas.  It supports secure pull printing.

Copitrak Scan
: is a module for capturing and routing to document management systems, for example Microsoft SharePoint.

Copitrak Editor
: this version of Copitrak offers transaction management features (viewing, reconciliation and approval) before they are transferred to the billing software.
