Konica Minolta USA widens its range of Solutions with NSi Output Manager by Notable Solutions inc.   26 May 2014

Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA announced on May 22 that NSi™ Output Manager™ is compatible and now available to work with their bizhub multifunctions.

NSi™ Output Manager is a  print queue management and print accounting application aimed at companies who want better to control their print spends and printed document distribution.

NSi Output Manager holds print jobs on the queue until a user with the appropriate rights identifies him or herself at the Konica Minolta bizhub (or other compatible) machine.  The system supports card recognition too.

In addition, NSI Output Manager supports user quotas, and allows admins to set them.  It is also possible to set the type of jobs each user can run.  It can recommend a particular printer on the basis of the number of pages and color requirements of each job.

NSi Output Manager's fleet management functions include real-time monitoring of the fleet and the provision of consumables management date and detailed reports of activity per machine and per user.

So this Solution manages security, print accounting and can reduce costs by optimising printer usage.

The partnership between NSi and Konica Minolta is not new.  Notable Solutions Inc. already enjoy Konica Minolta "bEST Partner Certification" for the document capture app AutoStore 6.0.
