Sharp put a new line of A3 monochrome MFPs on the market

23 January 2014

Sharp have launched a new range of six A3 black and white multifunctions divided into two series:  "Advanced" and "Essentials."

The "Essentials" series comprises the MX-M364N, MX-M464N and MX-M564N and is aimed at organizations aiming to rationalize their costs.  The "Advanced" range is aimed at customers with higher performance demands - and is made up of the MX-M365N, MX-M465N and the MX-M565N.

Although there are parallels, in that there are machines with the same speeds in each of these two series (36 ppm for the MX-M364N et MX-M365N models, 46 ppm for the MX-M464N and MX-M465N and 56 ppm for the MX-M564N and MX-M565N), the "Advanced" series stands out against several criteria.

As well as having a higher paper capacity, this series has a 10-inch touch-screen and a retractable keyboard.  Also, the MX-M365N, MX-M465N and MX-M565N support PostScript 3, Wifi and have access to the Sharp Cloud Portal set of services, allowing companies to benefit from the same connectivity from their Sharp MFP as from their portable devices (smartphones and tablets).

The products are already available in the north American market.
