DataMaster Lab Award for Scanners 2022: Best User Experience

DataMaster Lab is completely independent from the equipment manufacturers whose products we test. We derive no revenue from testing, nor from our evaluations, certifications - and not from our Digital Imaging Awards either.

We have been testing printing equipment since 2009, and our services are dedicated to helping sales and marketing teams who distribute copiers, printers, and, since 2020, scanners. We know what buyers need. We know how to differentiate products in the office market place.

Scanner users need productive machines bristling with features to help them do their jobs efficiently. The devices and their software both need to be easy to use - and they have to handle batches of paper and card originals without problems.

This award goes to machines which we have tested in our independent lab and which fulfil all these criteria. The DataMaster Lab test suite includes analysis and evaluation of a scanners features and functions, how easy they are to set up and use, and how well the machine handles originals of different sizes, thicknesses - and orientations.

The scanners that have won this award have a wide and intuitive range of features and functions, and also handle originals very well - compared to competing machines in the same tests in DataMaster Lab's independent laboratory.
